My late Uncle Ed (Francis Everett) Ladd did some research confirming our family's genealogy back to Daniel Ladd, who came over to the New World on the "Mary & John."
He visited Union Cemetery in Laconia NH and listed all the Ladds buried there, and drew a small map of Plot 108, where our direct ancestors are buried.
He was contacted by a cousin, Harlan Bolles Ladd, who had visited the cemetery, talked to the superintendent of the cemetery, and found out about my uncle's interest in the Ladds. Cousin Harlan sent Uncle Ed his family history.
A paper was handed down to me that is the genealogy of my cousin Josephine, the daughter of my great-aunt Bernice Ladd Veazie, sister of my grandfather, Albert Barnet Ladd. The paper seems to be a copy of a work sheet that she filled out for application to the DAR, and it gives the same information that my Uncle Ed discovered on his trip to New Hampshire.
My sister copied what she could out of the old family Bible and sent it to me in a file attachment.
She also sent me a copy of a 1990 newspaper clipping from the Evening Citizen, Laconia NH which gives an account from 125 years ago concerning the Ladd Family.

My mother sent me a picture that my father took of Ladd Hill just outside of Laconia NH in 1958.
